What you pay, and to whom.

Two things are deducted from a payment: our fee, and the processing cost set by Stripe. We pass Stripe's cost through exactly as Stripe sets it, with no markup.

The fine print, in plain English

Refunds, disputes, payouts and how you're billed.

Refunds

When you refund a payment in full or in part, the matching share of our fee is returned to you. Stripe does not return its processing cost on refunds.

Disputes

If a cardholder disputes a payment, the disputed amount and Stripe's dispute fee are taken from your balance while the dispute is open. If you win, the disputed amount comes back. Our fee on a disputed payment is not returned.

Payouts

Standard payouts to your US business bank account are free. Stripe's schedule for US accounts is a rolling two business days, after a first payout that usually takes 7 to 14 days.

How you're billed

Our fee is deducted from each payment at the moment it succeeds. There is no invoice to pay and nothing billed after the fact. You receive a monthly statement of the fees collected.

Taxes

Our fees are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes. Sales tax on your own orders is your responsibility. Where IRS thresholds are met, Form 1099-K is issued through Stripe.

Cancellation

You can close your account at any time by email, with no fee. Fees collected on completed payments are not refundable, apart from the refund share described above. See termination in the Merchant Terms.
