This Privacy Policy explains how Coco Lame LLC ("Coco Lame", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us, apply for an account, or use Coco Lame Pay as a merchant or as a representative of a merchant. It does not cover the websites of our merchants, which have their own privacy policies.
The short version
- We collect what we need to answer you, review applications and run the Service.
- Identity documents and card numbers never come to us. Stripe collects them directly.
- We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for targeted advertising, and this website uses no advertising or analytics trackers.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and application details: name, email, phone number, role, company name, state of formation, website, description of your business, expected volumes and any message you send us.
- Account and support communications: emails and documents you choose to send us while using the Service.
Information we receive from Stripe
When you complete Stripe's onboarding, Stripe collects your identity documents and verification data directly, under the Stripe Privacy Policy. Stripe shares with us the information we need to operate the Service, such as: your business name and address, the names and contact details of representatives, the verification status of your account, the last digits of your bank account, payout status, and transaction data (amounts, dates, status, refunds and Disputes). For Disputes and fraud prevention, transaction data may include your customers' names, email, billing or shipping address and the last four digits of their card.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and operation. This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or social media pixels. Our fonts and scripts are served from our own domain.

We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal effects without human review, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
How we share it
We share personal information only with:
- Stripe, to open and operate your Stripe Account, process payments and prevent fraud;
- Service providers who work for us under contract, such as our website host (Vercel Inc.) and our email provider, limited to what they need to provide their service;
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality duties;
- Authorities, payment networks and card issuers, when required by law, a valid legal request, the Network Rules or to respond to a Dispute;
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized, under the same protections.
We do not sell personal information and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
How long we keep it
- Contact requests and applications that don't lead to an account: up to 12 months.
- Merchant account and transaction records: for the life of the account and up to 7 years after closure, as needed for tax, accounting, Dispute and legal purposes.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a limited period, generally under 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and providers with recognized security practices. Card data is handled only by Stripe, which is certified PCI DSS Level 1. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information, subject to legal retention obligations;
- receive a copy in a portable format;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or of targeted advertising (we do neither);
- appeal a decision we make about your request.
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, and will not be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Oregon, have similar rights.
To exercise a right, email orlandonicox@outlook.fr from the address we know, or tell us how to verify your identity. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission. We reply within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform it, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service. You have the rights described above and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Transfers to the United States rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes are announced on this page and, for merchants, by email.
